On June 24, China Post Group Corporation Limited and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Beijing. The two parties will conduct comprehensive cooperation in areas such as sci-tech innovation, use of information technology (IT), parcel, express and logistics business as well as financial services. They will provide each other with competitive technologies, products, services and support, and work together to build world-class enterprises with global competitiveness.

According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out in-depth exchanges and joint innovation applications in areas such as AI, Internet of Things (IoT), digital twins and simulation verification to induce sci-tech innovation. Regarding the use of IT, they will cooperate in such fields as low-altitude economy, smart logistics, cyber security, IT application innovation, digital and intelligent solutions and data services. In terms of financial services, they will engage in business cooperation covering banking, insurance, securities and asset management. At the same time, they will cooperate in areas such as express and logistics, universal postal service, employee welfare and publicity and cultural creativity. Both parties have agreed to set up a high-level meeting mechanism and a departmental coordination and implementation mechanism to refine the list of items for cooperation, expand its coverage, and make joint contributions to securing the tangible results of the cooperation.
