On April 9, China Post Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (CPLI) released a white paper on China’s urban and rural health and elderly care in 2025 in Beijing, and simultaneously launched its service brand “Enjoy Your Care-free Senior Life (YOU享岁悦)”. This marks that CPLI has opened up a whole new chapter in the innovative integration of insurance and elderly care.

The white paper, based on the research findings on the needs and problems of urban and rural households in terms of elderly care preparation, proposes countermeasures and suggestions for health and elderly care, provides a comprehensive solution integrating insurance and elderly care, and therefore satisfies people’s diverse needs for aging preparation and elderly care during their whole life journey.

In 2024, the number of people aged 65 and above in China accounted for 15.6 percent of the national population. And the proportion is expected to exceed 20 percent around 2030.
