On March 19, China Post officially launched Guangzhou-Clark air cargo and mail route. This route, operated by B737-800F aircraft, runs once a week initially on Wednesdays, and plans to increase the frequency of flights in due course.
China Post’s Guangzhou-Clark air route marks the first cargo and mail route connecting Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Clark International Airport in the Philippines, and primarily transporting cross-border e-commerce goods, with a flight duration of about two hours. This is the fourth Philippine-bound international air cargo and mail route on China Post’s independent aviation network, following Yiwu-Manila, Yiwu-Clark, and Quanzhou-Clark routes. Subsequently, this route is expected to further boost the efficiency and reduce costs of cross-border e-commerce cargo transportation, and at the same time effectively facilitate economic and trade exchanges between the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Economic Circle and the Philippines. Moreover, it will open up a new channel for enterprises in the Pearl River Delta to build broader international platforms, and play a positive role in developing Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport into an air hub for cross-border logistics.
