Since the beginning of this year, Guangdong Postal Branch has taken the promotion of smart postal stations as one of the priorities in constructing intelligent express delivery scenarios, to drive the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and intelligent technology and enhance the efficiency and intelligence of mailing and delivery services. As of March 20, Guangdong Postal Branch has deployed over 500 smart parcel lockers in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities, providing services to more than one million people.

Integrating IoT and intelligent technology, the new-generation smart postal stations promoted by Guangdong Postal Branch can provide such functions as access control management, digital inventory management, intelligent parcel searching and pick-up as well as intelligent statistics and settlement, enabling full-process closed-loop management of these unmanned postal stations. At present, Guangdong Postal Branch has built smart postal stations in several different scenarios such as government agencies and campuses, providing efficient mailing and delivery services for regular customers.
