At 11:11 a.m. on February 27, China Postal Airlines flight CF291, carrying 16,897 kg of cross-border e-commerce goods and mail items, took off from the Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport and arrived at Clark International Airport in the Philippines at 13:19. This marks the official launch of China Post’s Quanzhou-Clark international air cargo and mail route. The route is operated by Boeing B737-800F aircraft, four flights a week, Tuesday to Friday.
Quanzhou-Clark route is the first international air route opened by China Post in 2025, and the third one to the Philippines in China Post’s independent aviation network, following the Yiwu-Manila route launched on July 16, 2024 and the Yiwu-Clark route opened on October 29, 2024. The Philippines has thus become the third country, after Japan and South Korea, connected by three international air routes of China Post, and also an important air transit hub for cross-border e-commerce goods from China. With these efforts, China Post’s international aviation network is playing an increasingly important role in serving the Belt and Road strategy and facilitating cross-border e-commerce development.
In addition, on October 28, 2024, China Post opened Quanzhou-Nanjing all-night air route for mail distribution, with which Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport is able to connect with Nanjing Lukou International Airport, the large international gateway and air hub, and integrate into the unified national market through the said transit air hub, thus facilitating regional cooperation and local industrial upgrading.
Up to now, China Post, with a total of 24 international and regional air routes, has basically established an independent aviation network covering many countries and regions in Europe and Asia.
