Sightseeing

During the Congress, we will organize visits to post offices. For the two weekends, excursions to thmous historical sites in Beding will be organized. As for the major excursion at the end of the Congress, delegates will have a chance to visit the biggest city in China -- Shanghai and the surrounding tourist attractions. The application forms and guidebooks will be distributed during registration. Delegates may also make inquiry through the Congress computer system.

Due to the limited logistic resources for the major excursion (accommodations and transportation), delegates are asked to be accompanied by spouses only. The Chinese Secretariat can not guarantee flight or hotel reservations for other family members or friends.

China boasts spectacular scenic spots and attracts tourists from all over the world with her magnificent mountains and rivers, long history, brilliant culture and colorful national features. If you have any questions or requests concerning the excursions before the Congress, please contact the Chinese Secretariat.

Receptions

During the Congress in Beijing, delegations may wish to host receptions. Due to the limited number of days in which such receptions can be arranged, delegations that have such a request should inform the Chinese Secretariat as early as possible so that the reception can be incorporated into the schedule and the conflict with other activities can be avoided.

Program for Accompanying Persons

During the Congress period, the accompanying persons of the delegates may take part in a full range of entertaining activities. The invitations and iteneraries will be provided during registration.
