Reading and lounge areas equipped with comfortable furniture will be established in convenient locations within BICC. A wide variety of local and international newspapers and periodicals in different languages will be available daily.
Each delegate, observer and member of the Congress Secretariat will be assigned a pigeon hole during the Congress and will get the key upon registration. Congress documents, letters, notifications and souvenirs will be delivered to the pigeon holes.
A document center that will keep reports, proposals, minutes and other documents of the present Congress will be established during the Congress period where delegates may look up or photocopy the documents they need.
During the Congress, from Monday till Friday, coffee, tea, bottled water and soda water of various types will be provided in the lobby free of charge during coffee break.
Fast food stands will be established in BICC. In addition, restaurants of different styles are available within walking distance from BICC
Medical and insurance Services
A doctor will be available in the BICC clinic for general medical care. Those who require further treatment may go to the hospital designated by the Congress for medical treatment.
For the convenience of delegates and their accompanying persons, a group insurance of up to 200,000 yuan (RMB) (about 24,200 USD) per person against personal accidents and illnesses will be provided for participants by the Chinese Secretariat in cooperation with the People's Insurance (Life) Company of China during the Congress period oourneys to and from China as well as the period beyond the Congress are not included). Those who have already insured in their own countries are requested to make a statement to avoid unnecessary payment. Those who wish to have an insurance of over 200,000 yuan (RMB) (about 24,200 USD ) should bear the extra insurance ties themselves.
