Visa
A visa issued by the Chinese embassy or consulate to a
foreign country is required for entering the People's Republic of China. However, it is
not required for the nationals of countries having the Visa Exemption Agreement with
China.
An entry visa or permit to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region issued by the Chinese embassy to a foreign country is required for those wishing to enter or leave China via Kong. This regulation does not apply to the foreign nationals who enjoy visa exeds treatment.
Documentation required for visa application:
l .Valid passport or other international travel documents
2. A two--inch bareheaded and full--faced photo
3. Completed visa application term (which can be obtained from the nearest Chinese embassy
or consulate)
4. Invitation letter tar the Congress participation issued by the Chinese government or
other documents specitying the purpose of your trip
Visa applicants are recommended to start the visa
application 15 working days in advance. For specific issues concerning visa application,
please contact the Chinese embassy or consulate in your country. In the case that there is
no Chinese embassy or consulate in . your country, visa application can be handled by the
Chinese embassy or consulate in a neighboring country.
