CHINA POST NEWS

With the first publication on January 1, 2000, China Post News has 16 pages and 3 issues each week. Run by the State Post Bureau and edited and published by the National Postal News Publicity Center, it is China's most authoritative postal media. In 2005, China Post News continued to stick to the tenet of penness and depth? and provided information in the two formats of news category and thematic category. It kept committed to reaching out to reality, the general public and their life and enriched its content and forms. It also has a weekend version, known as Readings in China, to provide information about the publications of books, newspapers and periodicals.

CHINA POST

Initiated in 1976, China Post was run by the State Post Bureau and published by the National Postal Information Center. In 2005, China Post mainly focused on the hot topics and problems related to the postal reform and business development. It serves as a major channel to introduce the policies and principles and promote exchanges among peers and with other industries.

MODERN POST

Managed by the State Post Bureau and run by China Postal Academy and the Postal Enterprise Association, the 16mo colored monthly Modern Post started publication on January 8, 2003. The purpose of the magazine is to explore advanced corporate management philosophies, standard modern enterprise system, efficient operational mechanism and sophisticated management methods to build a modern China Post, promote post reform, innovation and development and facilitate management and technological upgrading of postal businesses.

POST RESEARCH

Run by the State Post Bureau and published by Shijiazhuang Posts and Telecommunications College and the Post Committee of China Communications Association, Post Research (bi-monthly) initiated publication in 1985. As an academic magazine of the postal industry, Post Research is committed to studying the postal theory and technologies and applying research results into the management and production of postal enterprises. Its target readers are the managerial personnel, technicians, faculties and students of colleges and universities, grassroots postal staff and relevant outsiders.

CULTURE OF POST

With the first publication in January 2003, Postal Culture (monthly) is the only in-house cultural periodical of the postal industry run by the State Post Bureau and sponsored by the Postal Culture and History Center, the Postal Trade Union and the Politics Research Association of Postal Staff. Characterized by being informative and interesting, the magazine focuses on spreading advanced culture and reaching out to the production practice of enterprises and everyday life of postal staff so as to facilitate the building of postal corporate culture.

This is an official website (http://www.chinapost.gov.cn) of China Post. It is the portal for the link of Chinese government to the UPU.

The website offers the public an overall introduction of the characteristics of Chinese postal industry, its organizational structure, history and future development plan. It also carries domestic and overseas postal knowledge, postal news, new stamp bulletins and hot topics about post. Furthermore, it provides the information service on postage, industry standards, postal code and publications of newspapers and periodicals, helps to promote new technologies and achievements in postal research, and releases the administrative orders, notices, bulletins and information from the State Post Bureau.
